If you received a notification for this comment, I'm sorry for distracting you. It took me an incredibly frustrated few hours of pressing every minute detail of the room. I have now realised that 'the painting is deeper than it seems'.

Will try to add a hint specific to that part, rather then it's location in future updates of the game

In summary, the story itself is about a reunion party that results in death. It is a wonderfully charming VN, with well-made twists and turns. Within only a few short hours, one shall be careful to pick up every piece of dialogue, from careful clues and loose lips betray each and every character. With a cast of colourful characters that love and hate and both at the same time, every other person is as mistrusting and shifty as they can be. Don't let your guard down around these dangerous people, for not all of them are innocent partygoers. Nonetheless, it is not gloomy and dark like a noir film, but still presents its head high, dignified.

For example, Lady Quintessence and Double Trouble are snobbish socialites, who look down upon the lesser others. Crescent Moon and Pumpkin, the loving couple, are rather simple and content, in contrast. They do not belong in the same room, and one of them ends up murdered, as a result. Fingers then raise, pointedly sharp, and party-going smiles turn into scowls. One of among them must be an imposter, layered beneath a web of cloak and dagger. Despite the treachery, Casey Noir, the protagonist, also has a relationship to rebuild with an old friend, who has been waiting for their whole life and the forefront treachery shall not stop anything.

I highly recommend this visual novel and urge any reader, from casual to perceptive, to try it out. After all, it is stylistically chic and I am a sorry fan of funny animals.

Wow. A proofreader's prereview of the final game jam submission is positive? Well, either we have different tastes, or this is about to become one of my favorite games within a long, long list. Good luck! Happy spooktober!
